Food Basket Program
Success is Due to Our Community's Giving Nature

Through your support, you can make it possible for us to continue in our efforts to reach out to those less fortunate in Sedgwick County this year. As a part of this annual program, the officers of the Sedgwick County Department give their time to personally deliver generous baskets of food to
citizens throughout Sedgwick County. Last year this program was successful in
providing over 600 baskets to local families who were identified by beat officers,
principals and other residents. With your help, we hope to build upon that
success during the coming months.

Although we sponsor the program, every year we realize that its success
depends primarily upon contributions we receive from the community. Thank
you for supporting this effort and offering a helping hand to a families here at home. This is a program that demonstrates the giving spirit of our community and a program that would not be possible without your generous support.
Families receive two boxes of good including, canned foods, cereal, peanut butter, a $15 Dillions gift certificate for meat and dairy. Each basket, valued at $90, is made possible by donations.
