Our supporters are under no legal obligation to support this drive, but we are always appreciative of the support we do receive.  There is no minimum percentage of all proceeds from contributions guaranteed to go to a charitable organization or charitable

purpose.  Please note: a portion of contributions may be

spent on the cost of solicitation process.  The Sedgwick

County Sheriffs Officers Benefit Fund Association and our

processional fund raiser are registered with the Kansas

State Attorney General as required by law.  Registration

does not imply endorsement of public solicitation for 

contribution, but rather is an enforcement of public

solicitation for contribution, but rather in an enforceable 

legal system to protect our supporters from unregistered, unregulated solicitation activities.  All of the forms regulating this event by the State of Kansas have been filed with the Secretary of State and are available for public inspections.
